Electronic delivery of 1098-T Statements
On or before January 31 of each year, students will be able to view, print, and download 1098-T tuition statements electronically. In order to receive your 1098-T form electronically, you must consent to electronic delivery before December 31.
- Login to your ECU Pirate Port account here: Pirate Port
- Click on “Tuition Statements, 1098-T Statements & Payments”
- Click on “Consents and Agreements”
- Click change
- Read the consent form and click “Accept Consent” to agree to receive your statement through online delivery (if the consent form does not popup automatically, select “My Profiles” and “Paperless Options”)
- On or before January 31, you may log in to “Tuition Statements, 1098-T Statements & Payments” through Pirate Port to view, print and download your 1098-T statement.
It is important that you make your selection for electronic retrieval by December 31 of each year. Your 1098-T Tuition Statement will be mailed to your permanent address on or before January 31 if you do not choose the online option.
To view, print, and download your 1098-T Tuition Statement in PDF format online:
- Students, login to your ECU Pirate Port account here: Pirate Port
- Click on the “Tuition Statements, 1098-T Statements & Payments” link
- In the “Statements” box, select the “View Statements” option to the right of Your latest 1098-T Tax Statement
- In the “1098-T Tax Statement” box, click “View” next to the appropriate Tax Year
Authorized users may also view your 1098-T statement electronically if you grant permission. To grant your authorized users access to view your 1098-T tuition statement:
- Students, login to your ECU Pirate Port account here: Pirate Port
- Click on the “Tuition Statements, 1098-T Statements & Payments” link
- Click “My Account” and then select “Authorized Users”
