PCI – Payment Card Industry

East Carolina University is subject to the rules, regulations and contractual provisions regarding the handling of payment cards and cardholder data as defined in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).  ECU users can access ECU’s specific PCI requirements and standards via the ECU PCI SharePoint site.

If your department would like to accept payment cards, purchase or renew software/hardware which processes payment cards, or contract with a third party vendor to process payments, you must obtain prior approval from the PCI Compliance Committee.  To initiate your request please complete the appropriate ticket in Team Dynamix.
